The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) invites applications through Online  Application Forms from eligible candidates for recruitment to the following 66 SarkariNaukri Govt. Job vacancy posts of the posts of Section Officer (Group-A) in the Department of Finance (Treasuries and Accounts) of the Government of Punjab. (Advt. No. 202265).

Punjab PSC Section Officer Recruitment 2022 Vacancies

 

o    Section Officer: 66 vacancies in the Department of Finance (Treasuries and Accounts), Government of Punjab

o    Age: 18-37 years as of 01/01/2022

o    Pay Scale: ₹35400/- during the probation period of 3 years

o    Qualification: M.Com. degree in the first division  OR B.Com. with (ICWA) inter or C.A. inter or C.S. inter from a recognised University/Institution (ii) Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard.

Application Fee

The Online Application charges are ₹500/- for all types of candidates and the examination fee is ₹1000/- (₹250/- for SC/ST of all states and OBC of Punjab state only, No fee for Ex-Serviceman, PWD/EDS and LDESM of Punjab state only) must be submitted online through any Branch of State Bank of India only.

Written Examination

The procedure for selection of candidates for the post of Section Officer (Group-A) will consist of a Written Competitive Examination comprising 120 MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) questions (@ 4 marks for each question) of 480 marks (Questions from the Subject (Part A of Syllabus) - 100 questions of 400 marks,  Questions from General Knowledge & Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. (Part B of Syllabus) - 20 questions of 80 marks). The exam will be of two (02) hours duration. The exact date shall be intimated shortly. Selected candidates will be called for personal interviews.
